Spending over 25 years in a 3rd generation, 76-year old family business supplying and servicing the Food Service Industry for McDonalds, Burger King and "Mom & Pop" operations, the family business continued to expand into remodeling and building commercial and residential properties throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland.
In 2003, Philip relocated (along with his family) to Southwest Florida to lead a prestigious Naples-based marble and granite company, working with homeowners, builders and contractors throughout the Paradise Coast, where he expanded his talent into flooring, as well as custom granite and marble fabrication to meet all his clients’ needs. In 2005, Philip became the founder and CEO of Classic Floors & Countertops, now a division of Philip Young Remodeling. His Bonita Springs business continues to grow from its original 200 square foot showroom, to over 6,000 square feet today.
I was born in Naples Community Hospital and grew up in Everglades City. After graduation I made my way to Miami where I started my career in numbers at an auditing firm and was quickly promoted to a management position.
In 1991, while I was married with two small children, we made the decision to move back to Naples to raise our children and start a career in the flooring industry. I have been involved in every aspect of the profession since that time. From selling supplies, which included a lot of product knowledge to taking the required exams to obtain specialty licenses in both Lee and Collier County for installation of all types of flooring, all of which I have successfully maintained for the past 15 years.
For the past 10 years I have worked in management and accounting in the flooring industry. I love the flooring industry; however, numbers are my true passion.
My current position at Classic Floors & Countertops, as CFO & Operations Manager, allows me to combine all of my strengths and knowledge in flooring and management with my passion for numbers.
Jill grew up in New Jersey and has been a resident of Florida since attending the University of Miami where she received her Bachelor of Science in Education. After teaching children with learning disabilities, Jill moved to Naples. She did some substituting for a year before taking a job in banking. While raising her two children, she managed a law office for nineteen years before retiring. Jill has been a resident of Bonita Springs since 2014.
