Since 2005

Over 20 years of answering to our own name.

Classic Floors & Countertops opened on Old 41 in Bonita Springs in 2005. The name promised floors and counters; the work quietly grew into everything around them — kitchens, baths, cabinets, closets, and whole-home remodeling, all held to the same simple standard: we'd have to be happy living with it.

Serving Bonita Springs since 2005

The story

A showroom that stayed personal on purpose.

Philip Young started this company the way most good trade businesses start — with more craftsmanship than marketing, and a bet that quality would do the advertising. Over 20 years later the bet has mostly held: around seventy percent of our work arrives by referral or comes from clients we've already served. In a corridor full of franchises and vendor templates, this remains a family-run shop where the owner's name is on the work and the person quoting your project will still be here when it's finished.

The showroom is the heart of it. Not a warehouse, not a catalog kiosk — a curated selection floor where hardwood, waterproof plank, tile, stone slabs, cabinet doors, and thousands of backsplash options sit close enough together that a whole kitchen can be decided in an afternoon, with every material in hand. What earns wall space here is simple: products we'd put in our own homes. Not the cheapest on the market — the ones that still look right in year ten.

The other half of the standard is who does the work. Design happens in-house, in 20/20 CAD, thirty feet from the materials. Installation is handled by a crew whose work we've stood behind for years, not whoever a dispatch board coughed up. When something needs a decision mid-job, the phone gets answered by someone with the authority to make it.

What we believe

The standards the reputation stands on.

Craftsmanship over price

We will lose a bid before we'll win one with materials we don't believe in. Hand-picked product lines, installers who treat grout lines as a signature, and the patience to do the invisible work — slab prep, waterproofing, leveling — that determines whether the visible work lasts.

One accountable team

Design, selection, fabrication, and installation under one roof means your project has one owner and your questions have one phone number. No handoffs, no finger-pointing between trades — the accountability is the promise.

Straight answers

Pricing we'll walk through with nothing hidden. Honest talk about where wood belongs and where it doesn't, when refacing beats replacement, and which stone your lanai will actually tolerate. If the cheaper path is the right one for your house, you'll hear it from us first.

And two commitments we're proud to keep: contractors who bring us their clients keep their clients — over 20 years of trade relationships stand on that rule — and veteran and first-responder discounts, as our thanks. Read what clients say on our reviews page, or see the work directions we build in the design gallery.
