Ten months of genuinely livable outdoor weather changes the math on where a home actually lives — and Southwest Florida runs that math every evening. The lanai stops being a porch and becomes the dining room, the den, and — with a grill run, a counter, and cold storage — the kitchen where every gathering gravitates. An outdoor kitchen isn't a luxury here; it's the room Florida was promising you all along.
We build them the way we build indoor kitchens: designed first, materials chosen in person, one crew accountable from layout to the final wipe-down. The difference is the engineering — everything out there has to be specified for sun, salt air, humidity, and the occasional sideways storm, and that's precisely the kind of materials judgment a showroom is for.
The anatomy
Outdoors, the stone list narrows on purpose: UV-stable granites and dense quartzites that hold color and integrity through years of direct sun — because a lanai countertop lives a harder life than any indoor surface, and the stone has to be chosen for it. The slabs sit with our indoor selection, so the whole home's stone story stays coherent.
Marine-grade polymer and powder-coated aluminum cabinetry bring real storage outside — doors that don't swell, hinges that don't corrode, finishes that shrug off splash and salt. The good outdoor lines look as considered as our indoor cabinets; the days of a lonely grill on wheels are over. Drawers for tools, doors for the propane conversation, dry storage that actually stays dry through a Gulf summer — the difference between an outdoor kitchen and an outdoor countertop is mostly what's underneath it.

Budget behaves better outdoors when it's phased with intention, too — financing included when it helps. The structure, utilities, and stonework want to happen once and happen right; the appliance roster can grow over seasons — grill first, refrigeration next, the kegerator when you've earned it. We'll help you plan the full buildout and phase it in stages, so the kitchen you start with already has the bones of the kitchen you're headed toward. That's a far cheaper path than the remodel-the-remodel approach, and it's how most of our best outdoor rooms actually got built.

The honest range is wide: a straightforward grill-and-counter run prices very differently than a full outdoor kitchen with weather-rated cabinetry, stone counters, a sink, and a bar. We'll walk through what drives the price — structure, counters, cabinets, appliance allowance, installation — so you can scale the project to the way you actually entertain.
UV-stable granites and dense quartzites lead — they take sun, salt air, and heat without yellowing or spalling. Most engineered quartz is made for indoor use, and its makers generally don't warranty it outdoors. We'll steer you to stone that's proven on lanais, not just pretty in a catalog.
Marine-grade polymer, powder-coated aluminum, and properly detailed stainless — materials engineered for humidity and splash. Outdoor cabinetry is its own product family, and the good lines look as designed as anything indoors.
Often yes — gas, electrical, and plumbing runs typically require them, and we make sure that's planned into the project from the start rather than sprung on you later, the same as any indoor remodel.
